Since I don't keep this website up like I should, it's always so interesting when I'm updating to read what I considered note-worthy at the last update.

Two years ago it was staffing (always an issue!), and last year I was excited about the new menus. Minimum wage had just gone up (again!) and gas prices were over the top. Then, we all know what happened to our economy.

Thank goodness we live right here in Southwest Oklahoma where it seems that the economy is insulated for us somewhat. BRAC has brought hundreds of more people to this community, and we are all so excited that they're here, and more are coming!

It's our hope at Salas' that, in addition to our regular customers who have supported us all these years, we will see some of those new faces in our restaurant. You new guys need to know that we've been in Lawton for over 50 years, and are doing things pretty much the way they were done way back then. Our recipes haven't changed, and we make all our food from scratch, fresh every day.

A year ago our food and grocery pricing that we were getting from our vendors was all over the place. It was a scary time, and we raised our prices for the first time in years in the Fall of 2008. Now that things have leveled off, we want to offer some specials to bring you in, and show you what great Tex-Mex is supposed to taste like. Please come in and take advantage of these bargains while they last! We know money is tight, so these specials are for the whole family!

As of Thanksgiving we are launching a promotion of 3 entrees for only $5.00 each. We've had the Taco Dinner for $5.00 for several months now, and gosh do we serve a lot of Taco Dinners! Now we're also offering the Acapulco and the Ladies Delight for only $5.00!

Other specials that we have are Kid's Meals for only $1.99 every Thursday, so just drop by on any Thursday night after practice or a game and you can feed the whole family for a price you haven't seen in decades.

We still offer the Wednesday and Thursday night Deluxe Special, and Sunday Night is Fajitas for 2 for $13.50. Saturday nights Military Families can enjoy a 10% discount.

Of course, we have our same Lunch Specials Wed-Sat that start at $4.99, and don't forget that we have Menudo every weekend!
